Thank you for joining us to honour the life of Duncan Innes, who passed away on 28 November 2025. Duncan touched the lives of many through his intellect, teaching, writing, activism and commitment to social change.

This online gathering provides us with a space to come together and remember, reflect, and honour Duncan.
The memorial service will begin at 5:00 pm (SAST) today, Monday 8 December 2025.

REMEMBER ME…

Don’t remember me with sadness,
Don’t remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented,
That my life, it was worthwhile,
Knowing that I passed along the way,
I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street,
And you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps,
Only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy,
Just because I’m out of sight,
